I am a pm for a company that uses Jira and Confluence every day. I'm thinking about using Trello to manage my own personal tasks, but want to be sure that there won't be any additional cost to the company. If our Jira has 100 users, and I sign in to Trello using my Jira login information, will that automatically add 100 seats to trello?
If I can use trello for myself for free, will I be able to share my trello board with my manager, or link my trello board to a confluence page - again, at no additional cost?
I've seen several articles talking about Trello billing, but it's not 100% clear to me, so just looking to confirm before I begin.
Yes, you can use your Jira credentials to login to Trello (as all Atlassian products use a common login). There is no charge for using the free version of Trello, however, the free version is limited to 10 boards and 10 collaborators per workspace (which should be plenty if you are using it for managing your individual work and sharing the board with your manager).
I also want to mention that there is a new feature in Trello where you can track a list of your Jira issues within Trello. See details. (Note: this new feature has not been released to 100% of users yet, so you may not see it in your account right now)
Thank you so much for your quick and clear response! Much appreciated.
