It would be nice if the keyboard shortcut could work on international keyboards as well. I'm using a scandinavian keyboard which has some of the special characters moved around a bit compared to english layout. Seems like the symbols that need AltGr modifier are not working.

I.E search, hotkey "/" works, even though "/" is "Shift+7" on scandinavian keyboards. But opening the drawer "[" is "AltGr+8" does not work.

An effort to rectify this would be greatly appreciated.

This is an old thread, I know.

On Danish keyboards on Windows, we have issues like the one our Icelandic friend describes.

To select heading 2, we type Ctrl-Alt-2. But that is equivalent to pressing Alt-GR-2 which produces a @ symbol.
Heading 3 -> Ctrl-Alt-3 -> the £ symbol
Heading 4 -> Ctrl-Alt-4 -> the $ symbol
Heading 5 -> Ctrl-Alt-5 -> the € symbol

So Danes cannot use shortcuts for headers.

And we also have the issue since slash also requires SHIFT pressed, sharp parenthesises [ ] requre Alt GR - so I doubt that "Toggle sidebar" will work.

Hi Jonas, thanks for raising this! We're doing some investigation now on this. Can you confirm the exact keyboard you're using, is it Icelandic QWERTY? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icelandic_keyboard_layout
