Good morning,

We use Trello exclusively for logging our job details at work. We are having serious issues with it being extremely slow and not saving data. I have a video of how slow it is going and this is happening regularly. I turn the iPad off and on and it speeds up for a few minutes then slows down again.

It is unworkable and a serious issue that we need resolving.

We have plenty of storage on the iPads and all other applications are fine so it isnt the iPad. Can you help?

Kind regards,

Hi @Stuart Stanley ,

Can you maybe try checking this troubleshooting article: Troubleshooting for Trello on iOS? 👀

I'm not on iOS and I didn't experience this kind of issue. I did manage to dig out this:

Check for Unsent Changes

Before performing any troubleshooting, it is vital to ensure you don't lose data that hasn't reached the servers yet.

  • Account Tab: Go to your Account tab in the app. If there are unsent changes, a warning will appear under the "Log Out" option.

  • Sync Queue: Open the Sync Queue in your account settings. If items are stuck, you can tap the Share button to export a text description of your changes as a backup before they are lost.

Clear Trello's Cache

Since restarting the iPad only provides temporary relief, the app's local data cache may be corrupted.

  1. Open the iPad Settings app.

  2. Scroll down and tap on Trello.

  3. Toggle the Clear on Launch switch to on.

  4. Force-close the Trello app (swipe up from the bottom and flick the Trello window away) and then reopen it.

Alternatively, you can try reinstalling the app to see if that will help.

Within the app, under Account, there should be Share feedback option. Can you maybe try using that directly from the app to report a bug through there?

Cheers,
Tobi
