Slack Powerup: new board member?

I have enabled the Slack Powerup on my board. Notifications go to a private Slack channel. If I add a new member to my Trello board, will that member automatically be added to the private Slack channel? They ARE a member of the Slack team. But I don’t want them to be a member of the private Slack channel.

Thanks for reaching out!

If you add a new user to the board, this will not automatically add them to the linked Slack channel. Adding new members to a Slack channel is only possible in Slack and not via the Trello integration.
