Sending new Confluence pages to Trello as a new card?

Addy_Free February 11, 2018

I have enabled the Confluence power-up for Trello and connected the two. I've also embedded a Trello board on a Confluence page. My goal is to use this Trello board to track where a Confluence page sits in our content review process.

We don't need Trello to be able to control the Confluence content, but we do want Trello to be aware of the creation of content and to start a new card for that Confluence content.

Thoughts on how to accomplish this integration? Free alternatives that you are currently using? Thanks!

Hi Addy,

I'm afraid that's not possible with the Confluence Power-Up! It doesn't provide that sort of two-way communication, and only jumps into action when a link to Confluence is placed on a card.

It looks like Zapier doesn't yet support Confluence, but it may be coming—that would be my recommendation when it does become available. Using Zapier, you could set up rules to create a new Trello card whenever new content is created in Confluence!

Roger that. Thanks for the thoughts. =)
