Scope of a Rule - default to within Board?

Will the Rules I specify only operate within the Board on which they are specified and triggered?

I'm setting up a Board template with Lists, Checklist templates, and Rules. When that Board template is replicated, the internal Lists, many Cards, and Checklists will have the same names as other Boards based on that same template. Will things get all tangled up between Boards? If so, what can I do to avoid this?

It will not. Internally they would have different id.
