As of a recent update in Trello we are no longer possible to add a run page link in the description of our Trello cards. For example a link to open a specific programm with which we communicate for in production.
Before the text looked like this:
[Name customer](DynamicsNAV:+//Roltex/RunPage?Page=42&bookmark=35;JvrAAAAACLAQAzzAAAJ7/1YATwBSADIANAAxADEAMgA3)
But now this no longer works as a link, when put in manually 'add a link' we get an error that this is not a valid URL. However when pasted into the browser like chrome, the programm NAV opens easily.
Can somebody help us with this? We use this multiple times a day so it's time consuming not being able to use Trello now.
Thank you!
Hi @KennyVanGompel !
Unfortunately, I currently do not have the option to test your problem myself, since I have no access to Dynamics NAV. However, have you tried using another Browser? Maybe it's a problem with the browser you're using.
If the problem persists, you could try adding the prefix "https://" to the URL - perhaps this solves the problem. Another idea is to shorten/change the URL (which might cause irritations within Trello) to a more simpler link via online services like TinyURL or Bitly.
Please let me know if this helped!

I tried both Firefox and Chrome but they give the same result.
I've also done the test with adding http and https but none of them give a result either; google says this page does not exist, which is true, it should trigger a programm that opens up. However when I paste the text without http/https in my browser it works. I believe something must have changed in the editor from Trello why this is no longer working for us.
Are you a Trello employee and would you be able to maybe plan a Teams call in order to see what happens and maybe have a better insight?
Thanks in advance!
Kenny.

Hi Kenny
I'm sorry to hear this did not resolve your issue. I am no Trello Employee, but I suggest you can contact them directly here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
Hopefully, they'll be able to solve this.
Best,
Mara
