Rules stopped working suddenly

I have a number of rules set on a board, and they suddenly stopped working - I noted the board is quite slow also. I disabled and enabled the rules again without success. Any ideas where I should focus?

You were experiencing this and other Trello users, since trello was down for 2 hours. It is fixed now and working good.
