Hi,
We have all seen the comment section of a card get filled with email signatures and more when someone, unfortunately, either responds or reacts to a notification on a card. It creates a mess and a looooong comment section.
Therefore, I would like to ask, is it possible to disable this feature?
So when off, people will have to click on respond and comment directly on the card.
The 'Reply via email' invites trouble. Why not just 'Go to Trello & reply'?
As for reactions, which is a different and bigger beast, is it really necessary to have it read and say from where the reaction was made and the notification email?
I know not all who interact with the cards might be a Trello member, but is it not possible to filter it in some way or create a guest feature?
Hi @Maja Korup ,
Apart from just changing commenting permission (Board Menu > Settings > Commenting), I'm don't think there's much you can do. You could also reset email address for the board, but that's if you want to remove unwanted comments that come from emails (generally speaking).
I did try to check if there are any open suggestions on the topic, but couldn't find anything. Although I did a quick scan, feel free to take another look.
Anyway, if you're on Trello free plan, you can share feedback directly via the app (top right corner).
Cheers,
Tobi
