Removed from my own board

I was just removed from a board I own by another staff member. This was a slightly dormant board so I am not that concerned over the board itself, but I do have other boards that I would like to know how I can secure the other ones so users cannot remove me from them. Why can people remove board owners anyway? There should be a transfer ownership in the settings that would require 2FA to use.

Good day, welcome to Atlassian Community.

You can restrict who can remove members from a Trello board by changing the board's permission settings to allow only Admins to do so. By default, any board member can add or remove others.

From the Permissions section in settings, select Adding and removing members.

Choose the Admins option from the dropdown menu to restrict this action to admins only.
