Remove attachment after unlink

We have a process where we attach and link cards together between boards to keep track of some stuff. To attach a card, and link the cards together so it's visible both on the source card and the link cards works great with Butler.

But I also want to do the opposite that when I either remove or unlink a card on the source card, I also want to remove the card on the linked card.

Right now it get's unlinked, but the card is still there as an attachment.

How can I solve this?

Or can i run a rule once a day to remove unlinked cards?

The unlink function in Butler is powerful but I hate the triggers are so limited.

Would setting up a card button work at all here? 

Instead of selecting Remove to remove the linked card, you could press the card button which would unlink the cards – both on the source card and the linked card.
