Quickly hiding a card

Is there a way to quickly delete or at least hide a card without archiving then deleting? I use Trello for to do lists. When an item is complete, I just want to hide it, but it seems there is no easy way to do this. Ideas?

You could set up an automation that when you move the card to a specific list, it will move the card away from the board and onto and archive board

If you hover your mouse over the card and press c on your keyboard, then it will archive the card (Trello has many other such amazing keyboard shortcuts https://trello.com/shortcuts
