Qucik add window issue on Mac desktop

Hi Trello Team,

For last couple of weeks I am experiencing a disturbing change in quick add window feature (Mac, desktop app). 
- I open the window with the shortcut as usuall

- I enter the card title/desc

- After create card button clicked / enter pressed - the entire app with the board is displayed. 

This is quite unwelcome as the whole goal of this window is not to distract your current flow and add something to sort out later on the board. Is there any way to get back to previous version behaviour? Seems to be a regression. 

Another smaller issue is that form the moment of the new window introducement there is a choice to either put the new card to the board or to the box. Whenever trello is restarted it gets to the default setting of "box" where in my case I would prefer to have the selection kept between sessions. I always use board option so I need to get back to my prefered setting with each app restart. Maybe it is worth to persist the setting. 
Again less anoying as it only affects once for every trello app start. 

The window issue is annoying all the time ;-)

Hi @MARCIN thank you for taking the time to report these issues with the Trello Mac app. Can you share which version of the Trello app you're running? And did you update it recently? 

I checked to see if we made any recent changes that could have caused a change here, and I'm not seeing anything. I also tested a much older app version and the behavior seems similar. What I notice is that if the Trello app is minimized, creating a card with the quick add window does not restore and focus the entire app. If the main window is just "behind" another app, like Chrome, then the app is focused when the card is created. Does this help you as a workaround? or not... 

I'm exploring ways to improve this flow in an upcoming release, as I agree with you that the whole goal of this window is not to distract your current flow!

Thanks for reaching back so quickly. I am running version 2.16.1 which I believe is the latest one. 

Not sure when exactly I did the update, ~few weeks ago. I think I've noticed the problem together with the update when new design for the quick add window was introduced to the app (the window got some extra fields and was restyled) 

You are right minimising helps, just I don't really minimise windows just switch. 
Interesting thing I've noticed now - when I work on double display and trello is somewhere behind on screen 1, and you are on screen 2 using the shortcut to open the quick window - trello board is immediately displayed on screen 1. This is even a bit worse ;-) as you lose focus on what you have opened on screen 1 and it happens at earlier stage when you just open the window. 

Keeping fingers crossed for adding the issue to the team backlog and fixing :-)
