Problems changing email address on account

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I am trying to change my email address on my trello account as I no longer have access to the original email address I used to login to trello with. When I update the email under settings it's stuck on "update pending verification We just need you to check your email *new email address* and to verify it’s you and complete the update."

 

The email is not sent to the new email address. It's not in spam either. Please advise!
