Problem with moving tasks

I’m using Trello and I’m trying to move one of my tasks on a checklist to another checklist. If I’m farther down from the top of the checklist it automatically throws me up to the top of the list when I often want to drag this item to a new list below it, and it completely throws me off and once I figure out where I am I have to wait for the screen to scroll as I drag it down.
