When pdf attachments are uploaded there appears to be content missing from the files, I have no issues with these files outside of the Trello Workspaces.
Why are images being removed from these particular files when attached to the cards?
Hi @Donna ,
Is the content missing only within Trello's "online preview window," or is it still missing after you "Download" the file and open it locally on your computer?
Scenario A: Missing only in online preview (looks fine when downloaded and viewed locally) — This is typically a compatibility issue with Trello's preview engine.
Scenario B: Missing even after downloading — This suggests the file might have been corrupted during upload or has specific internal restrictions.
Looking forward to your reply.
@Ollie Guan is is a trello thing, the pdf when opened from the attachement section with the trello card the file opens but has the images missing. When I go back to were I have that file stored on my computer it still has the images.
I have other files that this has not occurred with in the Trello, just some files it appears to happen to.

Thanks for confirming! This is most likely a Trello-side rendering compatibility issue. It happens when a PDF contains complex layers or color modes that Trello's previewer cannot currently process, causing images to drop during conversion.
Recommended Actions:
Workaround (Most Reliable): Simply click the "Download" button and view the file locally. This is the fastest way to ensure 100% content integrity.
Official Fix: As a Premium user, please report this to Trello Support and provide the file sample. This is the standard way to get the engineering team to investigate and fix this specific rendering bug.
