Problem viewing Trello Boards

Hi All - 

I used Trello to set up pacing through some content for a handful of students.

Some students are doing fine, but a handful are getting access issues or seeing the Boards as private when they try to log in again. 

Since I am a newish user, perhaps I did something incorrectly because they are all saying they are logged into 1 google account only and trying to access via the google button for logging in. 

Here are the two things I did-

I have a main board that I invited them all to join from the board (+members button -> enter their email address and had send the link option visible). I made them all members of the Team this Board is in.

Also, I created a Team for each student and so I could copy a Board template to it.  Then, I invited the student to the Board. 

Should I have added them all to their Teams, too?

The students who are not having issues are doing well and liking it!
