Paying for single-board guests

Hello,

I’d like to upgrade my single workspace from the free plan to the premium plan.

In this workspace, I currently have just one board with a total of 8 members, including myself.

If none of the 8 members are part of any other boards, what would be the annual cost to upgrade this single board?

Will I need to pay for all 8 members? This seems to be what’s displayed on the upgrade screen, but I’d like to confirm.

Trello is billed at the workspace level i.e. when you upgrade a workspace then all members of that workspace and all multi-board guests in that workspace immediately become billable. If you have just one board in your workspace and want 7 out of 8 people to be single-board guests (i.e. non-billable) then you can do that by removing them from other boards in your workspace and converting them from workspace members to guests.
