Pasting list to Trello checklist doesn't create separate items just one huge item.

This is using the iOS app in an iPhone iOS 12.01. Source is a list from Word or Pages.

Supermarket

Gatorade
Compleats
Soup
Salmon
Jerky
Pop-Tarts Strawberry
Oreo’s Double Stuf
Shortbread cookies

M&Ms ?

@Alan Isobe yes the functionality to create multiple items or cards from a multiline paste only works in a web browser or in the desktop app.

If you're looking for a quick way to create a checkable shopping list from a multiline paste on iOS the Reminders app is your best bet.
