I want to be able to have 'parent' cards on the Master Board, which when I update the description in future, I want to pull through to my team's 'child' boards - but maintain labels, checklists, activity, etc.
Is this possible with a custom button?

If you haven't done much reading into the new Mirror feature for cards that has recently been added to Trello, it sounds like that might be an option for this! I don't believe it can be used on a free Trello account, but if you have a paid account, it might be the solution you need.
