Opening a trello card in full screen...

I used to be able to do this, but now it opens as a small card and using Ctrl + doesn't open just the card but enlarges the whole screen.

I googled and it says there is a trello extension but this isn't coming up in the google chrome store.  

Any thoughts?

Were you using a third-party extension to open and view the card in full screen? I did some research and found that there was some third party extension and that is no longer available, as it didn’t comply with Chrome’s best practices for extensions.

By default, Trello does not offer a full-screen view for cards. The standard card view should look like the screenshot below.
