I'm looking at how to run a live vote during our webinar on Mental Health/Neurodiversity late in May: https://ace.atlassian.com/events/details/atlassian-brisbane-presents-brains-and-belonging-embracing-mental-health-amp-neurodiversity-in-teamwork/cohost-brisbane
I'd love participants to be able to vote on questions so we can prioritise live during the call but the voting mechanism in Trello is a bit arduous - I'd love people just to be able to click a button on the card front (or maybe one right click...). Any suggestions on how to do this?
I looked at automation to add a card button but can't immediately see how to trigger it adding a vote to the card.
Pressing âvâ while hovering over the card will add (or remove) your vote on a card if the Voting Power-Up is enabled.
See https://trello.com/shortcuts for more keyboard shortcuts. Cheers!
Hey @Kit Friend
What a great ACE to be holding. I love the cause and I love Trello getting in on the act...
Will this be a public Trello board so that all attendees can access it?
If so, my understanding is that the voting power-up wont be accessible to those who aren't board members...
If you do happen to be letting people join the the board during the event, they will be members of the board and thus able to cast the vote. As @Nicole Pavlovich mentioned, pressing "v" while hovering over the card is the fastest way for sure, however if they are doing it by mobile, they will have to open the card...
If you want me to jazz the board up at all or look anything, don't hesitate to give me a shout. đ
For reference, this automation will sort the votes when a vote is cast...

Confirmed on public also - joining incognito I don't get power to vote (which is a shame, feels like a legit usecase!)

Thanks both! Those feel like good options - I feel like something like Mentimeter might be a better UX but I was keen to stay in the Atlassianiverse if we could :D
