One click delete of a card

To delete a card takes 3 clicks - Archive, as does 'share and more...' are the only options. 

Any help appreciated (doesn't even give a 'don't ask this again' )

Hey Kris

There's not currently a way to delete a card with one click. 

You can archive a card with one click by hovering over it and striking the "C" key on your keyboard. 

I imagine that there isn't a shortcut key assigned to deleting a card as there is with archiving because deleting a card is a permanent action and it could be too easy to accidentally delete a card with one keystroke.
