No option to enable desktop notifications

I read this article about enabling desktop notifications; however the option to enable desktop notifications does not exist in my settings.

I have checked and can confirm Chrome is "Allow"ing desktop notifications so that's not the reason for the block.

Grateful for any advice.

What do you see in your settings? I do have the Allow Desktop Notifications setting on my side:
