Hi there
I’m using Trello on a ZTE Blade V70 Max (Android 15) after a phone change.
I can see my boards, but I cannot drag and move cards.
More precise, i can drag them but cannot drop them at any other place.
I already tried reinstalling the app and clearing cache.
Is this a known issue or is there a fix? I cannot imagine how not to use my favorite feature. Please help
Hello @stephina mia
Welcome to the community!
Since you can drag but not drop, this sounds like it could be a touch event compatibility issue between Trello and your device. ZTE phones aren't among the most commonly tested Android devices.
A few things worth trying:
Check if it works in the browser open Trello in Chrome on your phone and see if drag and drop works there. If it does, the issue is specific to the app.
Try disabling any gesture navigation or accessibility features in your Android settings, as these can sometimes interfere with long-press drag interactions in apps.
If none of that helps, I'd recommend reporting it directly to Trello support at trello.com/contact so they can log it against your specific device and Android version.
thank you for taking the time for answering, Arkadiusz! Much love
I tried to disable the gesture navigation and all else possible..
unfortuneatly i am on the basic plan, so i cannot contact Trello directly, i contacted ZTE but apparently they cannot help.
its a pity, it is very needed, i am afraid i have to check for a new phone
:(
