New "Copy Card Number" feature difficult to use

benamada

The recently added "Copy Card Number" feature is difficult to use - it worked better before

Previously you could double-click the card number and press Ctrl+C to quickly copy it to the clipboard. It took less than a second and you'd get a simple card number such as TC1234.

Now when clicking the card number, a new "Copy Card Number" pop-up appears. It can take up to 5 seconds to load, and the simplest / shortest option includes a leading "#" prefix followed by a space, e.g. # TC1234.

It's personal preference, but TC1234 without the "#" prefix is more useful and works better as a simple identifier.

The previous behavior was much faster and more convenient for quick keyboard-based workflows.

Hi @benamada , welcome to the community.

It looks like you are referring to the Card Numbers by Reenhanced Power-up. This is a 3rd-party Power-up developed by a company outside Trello.

I'd recommend you contact their support directly for any questions or feedback on the Power-up by emailing at nhance@reenhanced.com

@Luciana Munhoz thanks so much for spotting that.  You're right, I wasn't aware we were using that power-up.  That power-up previously worked better as I described.  I might later follow up with them.  For now I've switched to Umble Card Numbers which isn't perfect but better.
