Anyone else having issues with new checklists disappearing on Trello boards? Just started this morning.
EDIT: New LISTS disappearing from Boards, not checklists disappearing from Cards. Apologies for the confusion!
Hi @KC 👋🏻
If you have hit the checklist Item limit of 200, then Trello lets you Add but the item disappears.
You could try the following:
I hope this answers your question. 🙂

Hi @Anwesha Pan
Thanks for the response! I should clarify -- I think I meant just a regular "List" on a Board instead of "Checklists" within a Card. Whenever I create a new List on a board, after about 5 seconds, the List completely disappears from the board, taking any cards I may have created within it.
I have tried reloading the page, rebooting my computer, and clearing my cache. None seem to have worked unfortunately, and the problem persists throughout all my different Boards. Existing Lists seem to be unaffected. Any ideas?
Thank you!
KC

Ah thanks for clarifying @KC 🙂
I can understand that's frustrating, may be you can give a try for the following options:
Check for Butler automation rules: This is the most common cause. A Butler rule on the board may be configured to automatically archive newly created lists. To check:
Open the board menu → select Automation (or the Butler icon)
Look through your rules for anything that triggers on "when a list is created" and performs an "archive" action
Disable or delete any such rule
Let me know if any of these worked for you. 🙂
Thanks,
Anwesha

Hi @Anwesha Pan
It looks like the issue corrected itself! It wasn't working for about 3 hours, but now the Lists are no longer disappearing. Might have just been a temporary back-end bug?
But I really appreciate your time and expertise in helping me with this issue! I will definitely use your listed steps to troubleshoot in case the same issues arise in the future.
THANK YOU! :)
