Hello Atlassian and Trello team,
I need help recovering admin and billing access to a Trello Workspace used by my company, BBkits.
The person who managed the main Trello account left the company, and we do not know which email address was used to create the account or purchase the Pro or Premium plan.
The Trello profile we can see inside the Workspace is:
Name: Weliton Luiz Pereira
Trello username: @welitonluizpereira2
The main issue is that we cannot identify the email address connected to this Trello account. If we knew the email, we could try the normal account recovery process, but the Trello interface only shows the name and username, not the email.
The paid Trello or Atlassian subscription is being charged to my credit card. I can provide payment proof, screenshots, company information, and any required verification privately.
I am the owner of BBkits and need help with recovering access to the admin or billing account, identifying the correct recovery path for the account linked to @welitonluizpereira2, or transferring the Workspace administration and billing access to a current company email.
The support form asks for an Atlassian Cloud URL like company.atlassian.net, but this is Trello, so we only have Trello links and cannot submit the ticket through that form.
Could someone from Atlassian or Trello please help escalate this to the correct support or billing team?
Thank you.
Hello and welcome to the Community @Weliton Luiz Pereira
The community cannot modify admin rights or billing ownership. 🫂
For workspace access, Trello Support cannot manually grant admin status. If the old admin used a corporate email, ask your IT team to temporarily reactivate it for a password reset. Otherwise, your best fallback is to move or copy individual boards to a new workspace that you control.
For the active charges, contact Trello Support privately with proof of purchase, and they can cancel the subscription for you (please do not share financial details here). I have also flagged this post to help route you to the right support path.
For now have a little patience. Mostly support responding within 2 business days but they have a lot of work often
Best,

Hello Arkadiusz,
Thank you very much for your reply and for tagging the post to direct it to the correct support team.
Just to clarify, I am not asking the Community to modify administrator rights or manually grant me admin access.
My main issue is that we cannot identify which email address is associated with the Trello user @welitonluizpereira2. If we knew the associated email address, we could try the normal recovery process, because our company usually uses an official company email as the recovery email.
However, since Trello only shows the name and username, we cannot confirm which email was used by the person who managed the account before leaving the company.
If Trello Support is not able to disclose the email address for privacy reasons, I understand. In that case, the other solution would be to handle the active billing, because the subscription is being charged to my credit card. I can provide proof of purchase privately so Support can help cancel the subscription or guide me through the correct billing recovery process.
So the help I need from Trello Support is one of the following:
Help us identify the correct recovery path for the account linked to @welitonluizpereira2;
Confirm privately how we can recover access if we can prove company ownership and payment;
Or, if account recovery is not possible, help cancel the active subscription charged to my credit card.
I will wait for Trello Support to contact me privately and I will not share any financial or sensitive information here.
Thank you again for your help.
