Hi @Liza, thanks for writing in, and sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the timing of your trial is most likely just a coincidence — in the last few weeks, we've been rolling out a major series of improvements for the core Trello technology stack, some of which are currently incompatible with browser extensions. In this case, you may be able to contact the maintainer for that extension to see if they're able to update it.
That said, while I know it's not an exact match in functionality with this extension, have you tried using the free Custom Fields Power-Up? This Power-Up should allow you to easily assign points to cards, display those points on card fronts, and even sort your cards by the number of points using automation.
