Moving due date along one day if incomplete

Anna Williamson

Hi,

I have a 'Today' list. Every card has a due date of the current date, as in, it's things I'm working on 'Today'.

However, if I don't get around to something, I want it to move the due date along one day.

So like right now it's nearly 5pm and I have 2 things on my list I haven't gotten around to doing.

So say for instance, tonight at 6pm, I want Trello to recognise this and automatically change the due date to tomorrow instead, so when I come in, it's the right date.

Am I expecting too much?!

Haha!

Thanks,

Anna

Hi there, Anna! I love the idea of this and personally have never tried to implement this kind of automation.

Are you familiar with Zapier? This may be an automation that you could set up there. I just tested it myself but it's more of a setup because I don't have a Today board.

I'd be happy to hop on a free call to try to walk you through it + we can learn together! Haha.

Thank you,

Summer

Hi Summer,

Thanks, but I think I've managed to do it! I've used this:

on the day a card in list "Today" is due at 6:00 pm, move the due date by 1 days

Perfect! 🙌
