I am having an issue logging into Trello from my Macbook Pro, it is saying they lost connection but I am connected to wifi and having no other connection issues. I am on MaOS 26 (most recent update), I tried cleanly uninstalling the app twice with no luck, I am not sure what the problem is. I keep getting the below notice.

Hello Travis,

In addition to answer from @Liam Do - DevSamurai

Check if Trello works in a web browser on that Mac. If the web version works fine, it’s a local desktop app issue. Try going to Help > Reset local data first. If that doesn't help, completely uninstall the app, clear out the Trello folder from `~/Library/Containers/`, and reinstall a fresh copy from the Mac App Store.

Testing on a mobile hotspot can also help rule out network quirks. If it stays stuck after that, grab the logs via Help > Export logs and send them over to Trello Support.

Best,

Hi @Travis Tuytjens , Welcome to the Community!

Could you try these approaches to see if the app works:

  • Temporarily disable any Antivirus, firewall, VPN, and network proxy settings.
  • Try logging in with a different network (mobile hotspot) to rule out network/proxy issues.

If none of these resolve the issue, I recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support directly.

Hope it helps 🙌
Liam
