I am confused about how many license to purchase. If I have a team of four. One product owner, one scrum master, one developer. do I need three licenses or 1 license for a team.

If you are just 4 people and do not need any advanced feature (more than 10 boards, custom fields and/or very big attachments) you do not ned any licenses at all and can use Trello completely free 🙂

As for paid plans you pay for each user: https://trello.com/en/pricing ... But again, only if you team get bigger (over 10 users) or you need the more advanced features
