Labels created and applied to cards can they be hidden and not deleted if no longer used on a board.

I have a board where the grant ends each year.  I create a new label each year, but when the grant closes I want to hide the label and not delete it from the board so the archived card will still show the correct grant year.

Can you hide a label?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! The closest option would be to remove the label's color, which you can do when editing the label. The label will then drop to the bottom of the label list and will only appear on the card back and not on the front of the card.
