Issue with trello app

I have just spent hours updating my lists on trello only to discover that when I switch to the app which is where I will be using it most that I can't filter by label or search which makes it quite a useless app. I'm running it on Android and will be grateful for any advice. Thanks

You can search by label. The syntax is #labelname. Full list of search operators are https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/searching-for-cards-all-boards/

Can I search within just one board? I have onlyanaged to do it across all boards.

Or filter to see just one label within a board like you can online?

Ideally I want to just look at tasks with certain labels
