Is there any way to widen the text input when editing a card in the Kanban view?

I assume this has something to do with mobile optimization, but when using Trello on desktop in the browser, in Kanban view, when I open a card, I want the edited interface to be as widen as my screen is. I don't see any reason why it can't be, and it's kind of difficult writing/reading things in the cards when they're so skinny sometimes.
