Is there a way to require a “read receipt” when we assign cards and checklist tasks?

We want to make sure that people see and acknowledge their assignments. Can’t find any existing ways to do that.

@Matt Morley you can use the "voting" powerup to allow people to add a thumbs up when they have acknowledged a card, but you can't vote on assigned checklist items. If you wanted to, you could subtask instead of assigning checklist items:
