Is there a way to automatically assign a member to a List

I use the lists to assign tasks to individuals.  Is there a way to add a member to a task when it is dropped into a list?

Hi Jeff

Users of a board cannot be added to a list, they can only be added to the cards within the list. While Trello doesn't have an option to automatically add users to cards within a specific list, Butlerbot can help with this.  

To add custom automation using Butlerbot, follow these steps:

1) Add Butlerbot to your board here: 

 A new list will be created titled "Butler"

2) Add a new card to the Butler list, using the follow text

when a card is added to list "LIST", add member @USERNAME to the card

Any time a card is added to the list "LIST", the user USERNAME will be assigned to that card.
