Is it possible to create independent card templates in one board?

I seem to be having trouble creating templates with different custom fields.  As soon as I edit the fields on one template, then the other template gets updated.  What am I missing?

Thanks for reaching out!

Right now, when you update the name of a Custom Field, it will update the field name on all cards on the board.

If you're looking to have independent Custom Fields, I'd recommend creating a separate field for each one you need.

I understand it'd be helpful if you could specific which Custom Field appears on what card, or be able to create independent fields, so I've flagged this as a feature request with the product team.
