Trello page not loading. Report saying it could be my connection but is this a wider issue?

It would seem it is a global outage > based on the number of reports and questions posted on Trello forum.
However, the official team still hasn't posted any update on their official Statuspage, but I'm expecting the update to be posted shortly.
I'd recommend subscribing to updates to get notified about the news.
