hi there,
We discovered a major concern with adding guests to our workspace and inviting them to a board. When those guests are added to a workspace board, they are able to click on any workspace member on that board and see ALL activity under "Profile" for that member, including any boards they are not invited to.
There are a lot of boards we don't want our clients to see, but we want them to have access to a collaborative board for them.
How do we prevent guests from seeing profile activity of any other regular workspace member, or other guests?
Hey @Trevor Trewartha - welcome to the Community!
Based on my knowledge of the profile page, if you go to someone's profile page, you should only see the activity of these users on boards they have access to. For example, when I go to your Activity/Profile, I see nothing - that's because I don't have access to any boards that you work on.
However, based on your use case that all your clients are on a collaborative board, this means that any of your clients could go to the activity profile of another client and see what actions they've taken on that board. That doesn't really have anything to do with them being a guest, it's more the fact that they're on the same board together.
If you don't want them to be able to see each other's work, then I recommend creating a board for each client and adding them only to that, and make sure they have no access to boards your other clients have access to.
hi @Alex W
I've tried a few tests, and yes, you are correct with this. I don't think we fully flushed out or tested this as much as we should have.
Thank you for the response...and the community welcome!
