I want to know how to delete the working app when I am told that it is not fully downloaded.

On a MacBook, I cannot delete the app. When I try, it gives me an error message that it is “waiting to download”. But the app is downloaded and will open a functional account. Apple Support tells me this is a Trello problem and that they cannot help me. Other places on the macbook tells me that it is an icloud sync issue but it will not let me resolve that either. I no longer need the app and want it gone from my desktop but have tried everything that I know how to try.

I disagree with Apple support, this is a macOS or App Store download glitch.

Quit Trello completely, open Finder, go to your Applications folder, and move the app directly to the Trash.

You can also clear out lingering cache data by using Finder's "Go to Folder" option to open ~/Library/Containers/ and deleting the Trello folder inside. If the icon remains stuck, it is likely an iCloud placeholder issue that needs to be resolved through Apple Support and not with Trello support.
