I tried to copy a body of important info from my notes app on my computer to Trello.  It did not work.  So I went back to the folder on my notes app where the info was and tried add a link to Trello thinking I could have it handy in Trello. Now the information is gone in my notes app and it does not show up on Trello.  It is not in iCloud either. How do I find out where it is or how did this get deleted if it did????

Hi there,

Welcome to the community forum!

If you added the data to the card description, you can check for an old description in the JSON. This will work if the text got replaced on the card, following the instructions in this article: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/recovering-the-description-or-card-title-that-was-changed/

However, if the data wasn't entered on the card, unfortunately, we can't track it.

We know how much effort everyone puts into their cards and also notes. Losing part of the content is such a bad experience.
