Hi

I have boards that I want to share with a single student so I can track progress, they will only ever have access to that one board

am I correct in thinking they will not have to pay to access one board? I would like them to be able to edit that one board, will they be able to do that

so it acts as a progress tracker for them and me

Hi Roospesh! Welcome to Trello community!

When you have a Standard/Premium subscription, if you invite someone to be a member of only one board in your Workspace (and don't invite them to the Workspace), it's free.

To sum-up:

Billable users in Standard and Premium include:
Member of the upgraded Workspace - either a normal member or a Workspace admin
Multi-board guests - users added to more than one board in the upgraded Workspace.

Non-billable users include:
Single-board guests - users that have been added to one board in the workspace - are not considered billable users.

You can check more details of how billing works with Trello Premium here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-billing-works-with-trello-premium-and-standard/

Hope this helps! Any concerns let us know. :)
