I have a question about removing members from boards on the free version of Trello.

I have removed a member from all boards within a workspace but they still appear on the members list which is preventing me from adding another member as a replacement as it still registers 10 members when it should now be 9.

How can I remove this individual completely so that I can resume the workspace with a full complement of 10 active members

You will have to remove those members from the "Workspace members" page https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/workspace-user-limit/
