For some reason, this board belonged to a college friend, but I think it wasn’t actually the board that was his—it was the work area 'Easy Energy' that belonged to him. Today, he erased the work area, and as a result, my access to this board, which was for my job, was also removed. How can I fix this?

Oh no, that's a bummer! It looks like when your friend deleted the workspace, they also took the time to delete the board with it. If only the workspace had been deleted, you might have been able to recover the board by moving it to a new workspace. But in this case, it looks like the whole board got deleted, which sadly is irreversible.

I'd recommend checking your email for any notifications you might have received about the board. Sometimes, you might find some recoverable content there. Beyond that, there's not much else we can do. It's always a good idea to keep backups of important board info in the future. Sorry for the hassle!
