I copied a shared board, but I cannot close or archive the original. Please help.

A friend shared a board with me, as I’m new to Trello. I copied it per her instructions and renamed it. The original shared board needs to be closed or archived, but both options are grayed out. I’m a little frustrated. Please help. Thank you.

You have to be an admin to close it. It sounds like your friend is the admin. So they would have to do it. 

But if you just want to remove it from your boards then to and click on your face on the top of that board and select “Leave Board”
