I cant open messages

I can attach an email to a card and it shows as a emi file. When others attach emails they show as a msg file. I can only open the emi file and the msg file say I dont have the right application to view. Is this a Mac vs PC thing? How do I open the msg file on a mac?

Hi @Jon Stewart - Thanks for reaching out in the Community! Looking at the two filetypes it seems like depending on the version of email software you use (Outlook etc) it will create different filetypes when an email is downloaded. I would suggest searching Google for a tool to help you either convert the file or view it - as this is outside the scope of support for Trello I can't recommend any particular tools.

Another possibility may be to use Trello's 'email to board' feature which will create a new card based on the email, this means you won't have to attach the email to the card but instead you can turn all the email information into its own card.
