I went to update one of my Trello cards this morning, and it logged me out, so I tried logging in, and it made me make a new account. I am not sure how or why this happened because I am pretty certain I logged in with the right account. I also checked all other emails I have to see if I was mistaken, but I was not. I am just frustrated and would like to know if anyone has had a similar problem and if they have any suggestions to fix it. I know the username, but I could not find a "login with username" anywhere.
I ran into the same login loop on Trello a couple weeks back.
Clear your browser cache and cookies specifically for trello.com and atlassian.com (or just use incognito mode to test). If that doesn't do it, try logging in from a different browser or device.
In my case it turned out to be an old session token stuck in the cache after a password reset. Once I cleared everything and logged in fresh, it went through normally. If you're still stuck after that, open a support ticket through help.trello.com – they usually respond within a day. Let us know what worked.
@Clark_ Owen A_ if you are using Chrome and you are logged into Chrome it will use that account when authenticating. I would suggest using a different browser or using incognito mode to login to Trello. Let me know if you are not using Chrome.
