Möchten Sie ein neues Trello-Konto mithilfe Ihres Atlassian-Kontos mit der E-Mail-Adresse ***** erstellen?
"Looks like you're using Trello for the first time.
Would you like to open a new Trello-account using your atlassian-account with your email-adress ***?"
This is the text message I get when I try to log into my Trello account that I have been using for years before it was migrated to Atlassian. I never had an issue before, that only just started today.
I have years of boards and cards on there - I use it as a calendar for my events. It would suck to lose all of the information on there. What can I do??? Was my account deleted for some reason? I never received any messages.

So, I figured out what happened.
Some time ago I changed the emailaddress of my trello login. However, when I did the password recovery I used the old emailaddress. Obviously that would not lead anywhere.
Atlassian recognized the old emailaddress, but Trello did not.
Therefore... no connection between Aatlassian and Trello.
I can reset the password, but trello still shows the first-time-screen.
And yes, I accessed Trello within the last month, even the last week before this issue occured.

Hi @Myriam Denise Engelbrecht , welcome to the Atlassian Community!
This message usually means that you are signed in to an Atlassian account that is not connected to your existing Trello profile. It does not, by itself, confirm that your old Trello account was deleted. Do not create a new Trello profile yet.
If the form recognizes the address, complete the reset and sign in using that exact account. If Trello still shows the first-time screen afterwards, the error suggests an account-association issue rather than a normal password problem.
The dormant-account policy only applies after more than two years without any Trello activity and includes advance email warnings. If you accessed Trello within the last two years, that policy should not be the cause. Please reply with whether the recovery form recognizes the original address and whether the email arrives, without posting the address publicly.
See Recovering your Trello account, Switching between Trello accounts, and the Dormant Trello account policy.
