How to turn off taco's popup?

How can I turn off the dog's head from peering up over the top of the user interface once I've read the notification?

Hi Delian,

Unfortunately, there is not currently a way to make him go away completely.

He will hide behind the top bar for now, but don't worry, He will go away on his own soon!
